What is Into The Script looking for?

Into The Script is a site primarily covering all things related to Screenwriting, Filmmaking, Novel writing, Writing careers and inspiration, Networking and Social Media. 

Your article must be an original written submission - not published elsewhere online. Make it a FUN, INFORMATIVE and ENGAGING read! Choose something you're PASSIONATE about - it will come through in your post!

Into The Script prides itself on it's encouraging, positive and informative tone - so please bear this in mind when writing your own submission.

Feel free to browse the blog to get an idea of the style and content that Into The Script readers are familiar with.  




Who can submit a guest post pitch?

ALL are welcome (beginner writers, pro bloggers or freelancers etc) to submit a guest post  to be considered:

Including a pitch title and a brief summary of what your article will be about via email to intothescriptinfo@gmail.com 

Just make sure it's a topic related to the categories stated above! Please also feel free to include a brief bio and any links to other relevant articles or posts you have written.

Once your pitch title has been confirmed, then please do move forward with writing your article.

Non-native English speakers are of course welcome, but you MUST be able to write fluently and proficiently  - due to time constraints I will be unable to edit  (if needed) every post submitted. Thank you for understanding. 

Once your submission has been approved to go live - it will be uploaded to the blog within a week & shared on the relevant Into The Script social media platforms*


Writing for Into The Script:

The following styles are very popular on the blog, please click to see examples to give you an idea on how to write your own -

Top 10/20 Lists - Of films, characters, books etc - anything related to what Into The Script is all about and WHAT can our readers learn from your post?

How-To -  Are you a pro at Social Media? Networking? Pitching? Dialogue? Great! HOW can you inform the readers?

Quotes  - An Inspiring or motivational  list of quotes from filmmakers, writers or other industry pro's are always popular! 

No blatant self-promo, reviews of books, films or shows, negative tone or hate speech is welcome. 


REMEMBER:
  • Keep your post between 600 - 800 words
  • If you wish to include images in your article - please send the jpeg images separately attached in your email submission ONCE your article has been completed and ready to send to go live. 
  • Make sure these images are sourced ONLY from rights-free sources such as PIXABAY
  • All social links to your own website/blog or social media platforms will be included in your final written article once it's live on the blog!
  •  An original written submission not found published anywhere else.
